2026 Sterling Heights Perceptions Survey

The City of Sterling Heights is conducting a community perceptions survey, and we invite you to share your honest feedback. This survey is being sent to both Sterling Heights residents and individuals who live outside the city. Whether you currently live in Sterling Heights, visit often, work nearby, have only heard of the community, or are not familiar with it at all, your perspective is valuable.

The purpose of this survey is to better understand how people view Sterling Heights today, what factors shape those impressions, and how the city compares with other communities in the region. You do not need to be familiar with Sterling Heights to participate. In fact, hearing from people who are less familiar with the city is an important part of this effort. Your responses will help the City better understand what people already know, what they may want to learn more about, and how we can continue to enhance aspects of the City of Sterling Heights.

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. Please answer based on your own experiences, impressions, or current understanding. There are no right or wrong answers. Your responses will be used for research and planning purposes, and demographic information will only be used to help ensure the survey results are representative.
